In accordance with the West Suffolk Local Plan policy, a Design Code will be submitted alongside the hybrid planning application for approval. The Design Code builds on the Masterplan which was approved in November 2025 by West Suffolk Cabinet. Policy LP11 – Design Codes states that the Design Code should inform the design principles of a development where a Masterplan has been produced for the site. The Design Code requirements are set out in Appendix E of the Local Plan.
